Sign Pulsar

Email signature insights, with the limits made clear.

Sign Pulsar can count estimated remote-image signals and tagged-link clicks for paid, tracking-enabled signatures. The dashboard is useful for trends—not for identifying recipients or proving that a person read an email.

How Sign Pulsar insights work

  1. Enable insights deliberately

A paid user turns tracking on for a signature before export. Tracking is optional and stops accepting events when paid entitlement expires.

  2. Install the tracking-enabled export

The exported signature can include tagged destination links and a tiny remote image. Sign Pulsar does not connect to your inbox or read message content.

  3. Requests create limited signals

A remote-image request may create an estimated open signal. A tagged-link request may create a click before redirecting to the HTTPS destination.

  4. Automation is filtered and aggregated

The service filters common scanner or prefetch traffic, suppresses rapid replay, applies workspace limits, and returns owner-scoped aggregate totals rather than raw recipient rows.

  5. Read trends, not identities

Review 7-, 30-, or 90-day estimated opens, clicks, tracked-signature counts, and top links. Without a sent-message denominator, Sign Pulsar does not calculate an open or click rate.

What Sign Pulsar does not tell you

The dashboard does not identify who opened a message, prove that a person read it, expose recipient email addresses, or infer buying intent. A click is stronger than an open signal, but scanners and forwarding can still influence it.

Example: comparing link interest without naming recipients

A consultant compares aggregate clicks to Services and Book a call across 30 days. The result can guide which link deserves prominence, but it does not reveal which recipient clicked or whether that person intends to buy.

Use insights responsibly

  • Give recipients any notice or choice required by applicable law and workplace policy
  • Treat estimated opens as directional because privacy systems can pre-load or block images
  • Use tagged-link clicks as aggregate behavior, not personal profiling
  • Keep tracking off when it is unnecessary for the communication
  • Read the Privacy Policy before enabling tracking for a team

Accuracy and privacy note

Apple explains that Mail Privacy Protection can download remote content in the background regardless of engagement. That is one reason Sign Pulsar labels opens as estimated signals and never presents them as confirmed human reads.

Can Sign Pulsar tell me who opened an email?

No. Sign Pulsar returns aggregate estimated open signals and tagged-link clicks. It does not store recipient email addresses in its tracking tables or identify a person from the dashboard.

Why are opens only estimates?

Remote images can be blocked or privately downloaded before a person reads the message. Forwarding, bots, privacy proxies, and security scanners can also create or suppress requests.

Does Sign Pulsar calculate an open rate?

No. The current service does not know how many messages were sent, so it has no valid denominator for open or click rates.
